Ali Pinkney is a literary writer invested in poetics. She is based on Tiohtiá:ke/Montréal. Ali holds her year's Steinberg Scholarship, Fellowship with the Faculty of Arts and Science, and a variety of research and teaching duties with the Department of English at Concordia University where she pursues her Master of Arts with the class of 2021.
Ali's first novella Roadkill Croque Monsieur is set for publication with Bad Books Press in late 2020. Her experimental work Tampion was published in 2014 as part of the inauguration of Metatron Press. One of Ali's major ongoing projects, Sharp Dogs with Pale Eyes, is supported by the Concordia & Montréal creative writing communities, The Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity (Alberta, 2018), CALQ (Quebec, 2019), and The Home School Hudson (New York, 2019).
